Thank you for traveling to join us!
Casual Drop-in Meal
Stop by anytime from 6:30 to 9:30 for a taco and a drink, ideal for anyone who’s around or arriving that might need/want a meal fresh off the plane.
This is truly just a casual taco, margs, and queso, family style meal - not a formal sit down affair. If you need a bite to eat after a day of travel, or just don’t want to fuss with dinner plans on Wednesday, join us at Tacolicious!

There’s lots of great hotels in the San Francisco Bay Area, and while we don’t have a block reserved any where, we definitely have opinions! We love the Parker Guest House, Hotel Kabuki, and any Kimpton. There’s a schmancy hotel on the waterfront called One San Francisco, and the classic Fairmont is also a splurge-worthy spot. If you have questions, concerns, or need some vetting of a neighborhood, don’t hesitate to ask!

In all honesty, we don’t think you’ll need one while you’re in San Francisco proper. If you’re planning on traveling about the weekend before or after, maybe consider renting for those periods. We strongly suggest using ride share in the city, and if you do rent a car don’t leave anything visible inside when you lock it!

One word: Layers.
October tends to be our warmer time of the year, and the city doesn’t understand the concept of AC. That said, temps can range from 50s to 70s in a single day, in a single hour, in a single neighborhood. Seriously - you can turn the street and it might drop ten degrees! Layers layers layers are recommended - a light jacket is always good to have on hand.

Well that’s easy! Join us for the traveler’s dinner, and swing by to say Hi!

We love this city, and the small neighborhoods are some of our favorites.
Some great views/spots for walking we LOVE include Chrissy field and/or checking out the Tunnel Tops park in the Presidio (which is also just stunning - see if you can find Yoda!), as well as Land’s End!
Check out Hayes Valley for some cool shops and drop in eats, and Noe Valley’s 24th street is an adorable spot to walk around, too!
We have world class museums - SFMOMA, the de Young, Legion of Honor, Contemporary Jewish Museum, GLBT History Museum, The Exploratorium (family oriented) and the California Academy of Sciences are some favorites!
Don’t miss out on some great eats, too! We’ve got all kinds of amazing food in SF, including the original fortune cookie factory, dumplings, farm to table, and everything in between! Let us know if you need a recommendation.
